Ethnava Jacquard Cotton Pink Lucknowi Chikankari Kurti – 2401

  • We owe this to our talented craftsmen’s hard work and imaginative thinking. All Chikankaris are created with the utmost care. A yellow embroidery adorns the Kolkata Chikan Kurta, which features delightful colors and fine work. Our ethnic wear collection includes chikankari kurtas that are updated with a modern look and feature Lucknow chikankari. There are traditional chikan embroidery shops nestled in the lanes of Old Lucknow. Highly skilled artisans weave them with meticulous attention to detail. Ethnava shows off the artisan skills in hand embroidery in this beautiful piece of embroidery.
  • The high-falutin ladies of Lucknow were taken care of by Chikankari workers during the Nawabi era. These artisans decorated themselves with the most exquisite clothing with their nimble fingers. The designs evolved with time as they used different stitches. Stacks of grass blades are used to create a stitch known as “Ghaspatti.” There are V-shaped lines of stitching along the right side of the fabric that resembles grass leaves. In Chikankari, the GhasPatti Stitch is one of the most recognizable stitches. Chikan, for example, uses this stitch on many of its items of clothing. The leaves and petals are often sewed parallel to one another. Kurtis, Chikan Suits, and trendy palazzos are commonly stitched with the Ghas Patti Stitch. Hairstyles are incorporated into it to make it look more improvised. Therefore, it is called Maangdaar GhasPatti.
  •  Embroidered Jacquard fabric and plain fabric are used to create an elegant Kurti. Fabric without patterns is woven on a mechanical loom. Materials vary greatly in composition and weight, as well as in their intended purposes. This fabric features jacquards, polka dots, and fancy botanicals, in addition to stripes and polka dots. In contrast to prints, jacquards are woven simultaneously with the pattern. The interlacing of warp threads creates a distinctive weave.
